    Stress Relievers

    Last night, while I was playing with my son on the floor, basically watching him crawl all over and grab for everything in site, he got to the books in the bookcase. He of course pulled all the books out and started nawing on them. That particular shelf had a few kinds of books in it, philosophy books (from back in the day when I wanted to be a philosophy major and philosophize about being unemployed for the rest of my life), Shakespeare (from the days when I actually read it) and my destressing books.

    So my daughter has started this fairly new thing, she lies. She only used to do it every now and then, but now she does it every day, at least once. My husband says it’s normal, but I wonder. It got me thinking about how I was when I was a child. I’m sure I lied, everyone does right? But did I lie so often, and was I lying on things that I had no reason to lie about. Who knows…well, I guess I could call and ask my mother, but we won’t go there, I’d rather just stick with the vision of me as a perfect child.

    Well, I spent most of yesterday on the Entrecard site. I read about it on Momscashblog.com. She said it was addicting, and boy, was she right. Anyhow, I got that all set up, pretty cool actually. It gets some traffic to your site, plus I’m getting ins on sites that are very interesting and I’ve already put some ideas into action from these sites!

    Alright everyone, Christmas is over. It’s bitter sweet really. I love Christmas, it’s always been my favorite time of year. But I must admit that there is a lot of stress attached to that time of year. Presents need to be wrapped (which by the way my husband wrapped 98% of them this year, I’m so lucky), last minute shopping (we forgot stocking stuffers, lol), stuff like that.

    I’m thinking of putting a new baby page on here. Even though not everyone has a baby, or has older kids, as I do, I think a baby page is a good idea. I’m always surfing looking for info for my baby questions, therefore it’s probably safe to assume that other parents are doing the same thing. So that’ll be my new project.

    As the holidays get closer it’ll be harder for me to be working on this, but it’ll get done, I assure you!

    So I caved and gave my husband one of his presents early! I know your supposed to wait but he had a three day weekend and I wanted him to start enjoying his game. I got him a computer game he wanted. I feel bad though, it turns out his computer is a little out of date or something, so he can’t play it the way he wants to. In order for him to play it we will have to spend like $1000 or something to upgrade his pc.

    Birthday Party

    Well, we just had our daughters 6th birthday party yesterday, I think I’m still recovering Over 30 people were here, so that was a good turn out. I can’t remember being 6 myself, but I’m sure I didn’t have parties like that! Now we can finish up Christmas must do’s, wrapping presents being a priority today.

    With all to do, the baby has another cold, no idea where he got this one! Hopefully it’ll clear up faster than the last one, which took over 2 weeks to go away!
