I thought I’d share this site that I found with everyone. It’s called blessed baby. I’m not getting any commission from this, nothing like that, I just thought these were entirely too cute! What do you think?
Survey Tips

As many know, I make a decent amount doing online surveys. But there is actually a few tips to make doing the surveys fast and easy.
Addition To The Mothers Ring
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008So with Mother’s Day just around the corner, you start to think about things. I was just reminiscing on last year, my baby boy had just been born and it was my first “offical” Mother’s Day. I have my kindergardener, but she is my step-daughter, so the “official” Mother’s Day was last year. My favorite gift was (besides my son of course) a coffee cup that my mom gave me that said “Beware of the sleep deprived mom”, which fit wonderfully, as my son was feeding about every hour and a half or so.
Saving Money in Your Nursery
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008
When we found out we were pregnant, I’m not quite sure that I was prepared with the expense of outfitting a nursery. Sure, I was working so we had enough money to do whatever to the nursery, but looking back, did we need all of it? Here’s some tips to save money if you are outfitting a nursery:
Accutane and Pregnancy
Tuesday, April 15th, 2008Yesterday I was thinking back to my prepregnancy days, back in the days when I was single, successful, and my worst worries in the world were where I would go on Friday night and my complexion. I actually saw a dermatologist once a month back in the day, to keep me insanely beautiful, (lol). Anyhow, I was on Accutane in my mid-twenties. If you don’t know what accutane is, it’s an acne treatment drug that works great. Couple catches, one including the horrible side effects to a baby if you are to get pregnant on it.
Free Money - That No One Wanted!!!
Monday, April 14th, 2008I tried a little experiment here on Mommies Home. My last contest (ran from 4/8 to today) was for $10 cash, all you had to do was comment. I put the contest information in the video post Sneaky Puree. I wanted to be “sneaky” and see:
#1-if people were truly watching the video posts that I’ve been doing, as I don’t get that much feedback on them
#2-if a cash incentive would do anything to traffic
Looks like the answers are sadly no. So, would you guys want me to keep giving away cash on Mommies Home? What about video posts, are the worth it? Let me know!!!!!
The winner of the $10 is phoFuki, thanks for watching and be looking for an e-mail here soon!

Can Kids See What They Need To?
Saturday, April 12th, 2008
I was one of those kids, ya know, the ones with glasses in grade school. I got them in 4th grade as I recall, and was called four eyes by a boy the first day I wore them to school (don’t worry, I chased him across the field at recess and do recall pushing him into the ground, I may have been blind but I wasn’t going to take that from a silly boy). I got contacts really early and my eyes continued to get worse, now they are at 20/700, oh ya, I’m blind as a bat. Since I know how important vision is (and the lack thereof), I thought I’d make sure our kindergartener is up on when to get her eyes checked. So when is it recommended?
Wow, I’m The Best Mom EVER!
Friday, April 11th, 2008
Yep, I am, I’m the best mom ever. Except for the fact that in 5 seconds of me not watching, my son crawled across the living room and fell down an uncarpeted set of stairs. Hmmm, ya. A week before his 1 year birthday party, and he now has three, YES three, large bruises on his face. Those are just the ones you can see! My poor baby boy… Why am I telling you this?

Pay It Off
Friday, April 11th, 2008
So within the past 2 months I’ve managed to get our family almost completely out of credit card debt. If your like 90% of Americans, or will admit that you are (as most people in the blog community tout no debt and stacked bank accounts), then you have some type of credit card debt that is sucking your cash away. So how did I do it and why?
