Mom Hair Dilemma

There are a few things that I’ve always heard that having kids will do to a woman.
1) They gain some weight
2) They start to get wrinkles and go grey
3) They chop their hair off, here’s Reese Witherspoon after she had her baby. She definitely changed her look but didn’t chop her hair off all the way.
I’ve been dead set against all of these happening to me, but it just so happens some of them happened anyways…
Why Not Buy Your Kid A Pony?

There are so many kids today that I believe are over-indulged. Many people think our daughter is one, she is six and has a laptop and a desktop computer in her room. We are computer geeks ourselves, so that makes sense to me. But what about the parents that buy their kids ponys (or horses)? Are they being overindulgent?
When To Start PreNatal Yoga

One thing I did love about being pregnant was being able to go to some great prenatal yoga classes. I went once a week for most of my second trimester, and a little of my first. But I do recall walking into a room full of VERY pregnant women while I was only 10 weeks along. It was uncomfortable, as if people were waiting for me to have a miscarriage or something. So when is the right time to start a prenatal yoga program?

These guys have CRAZY stuff! Go there and take a look at their Fantasy Coach, seriously, what kid wouldn’t want that in their room! My daughter doesn’t even like Princesses anymore, but she’d go for that!

Not Pregnant and Now Ugly

I wasn’t sure if I’d blog about this or not, but I figured I would anyhow. This was our first month of trying to get pregnant. But I’m not pregnant. I’m not sure what I was expecting, as it took us over a year to get pregnant with our son. I guess I was just hoping that my husband would just have to look at me and I’d be pregnant. But, alas, we’ll hope for next month…

Locks At The Airport
Saturday, May 24th, 2008I thought I’d write about a quick idea that will make your traveling more safe and secure. Last time I flew, I couldn’t have any locks on my luggage. I don’t know about you, but this is always nerve racking. I can picture the luggage guys going through my stuff, stealing everything that is worth anything of value, before shoving it in the belly of a plane.
