    The Big Stroller

    Saturday, May 24th, 2008

With summer here, it’s garage sale time. One thing I keep an eye out for strollers. One of the parents from my daughters school showed up the other day with a double stroller she got at a garage sale, one of those strollers for twins. So what should you look for when getting one of those huge strollers?

    Change For Mommies Home

    Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I’ve decided to make a small change to Mommies Home.net, or at least the contests that I run here. Anyone who signs up for feed by e-mail will automatically be entered in all future contests. Of course you don’t have to be a subscriber to enter a contest, it just makes it easier on my readers!

When a winner is picked for a contest, I’ll contact them and make sure they want the prize. If not, then I’ll randomly pick another winner and so on.

Study Shows Caffeine Can Cause Miscarriage

    Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

When pregnant, I was lucky enough to be able to stop caffeine all the way. That’s pretty good for me, as I drink at least a pot a day. Take a look at this study and tell me if it would sway you off of caffeine for the entirety of a pregnancy or just help you decrease your intake.DON’T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE SO YOU DON’T MISS A THING!

    Is It A Deal?

    Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

So every week I get the ads for the local grocery stores. I’ll show you real quick how to spot a deal and how to see if the stores are just trying to pull one over on you. I’ll also show a quick price book use. Check out What Do You Consider A Deal for some more background.

    Kindergarten Logic

    Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

I was on the way to the store with the kids the other day and my kindergartener and I were talking about this girl in her class (let’s call her Cindy). So Cindy has been getting in some trouble for not doing very nice things in school. My daughter then started telling me that Cindy has been being mean to one of my daughters friends (let’s call her Emma).

    Post Natal Swimwear

    Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

It’s that time everyone, that dreaded time when we all get to step into a badly lit fitting room and try on the swimsuits that make us cringe (maybe just makes me cringe). But last year at this time I had just had a baby and didn’t even think about a bathing suit. Why? Because my belly was to small for maternity swim wear, but to big for my regular swim wear. Or so I thought…

Swing Set Through A Child’s Eyes

    Monday, May 19th, 2008

In the process of looking for a new home, I’m constantly amazed by what the kindergartener thinks is a nice home. We took her with us this last Friday on our house hunting and it was quite an eye opener.

    Moms At Home Group

    Monday, May 19th, 2008

So my buddy Nessa over at Absolutely Mom’s is starting up a group over on Lilaguide called “Mom’s at Home”. So go check it out if you’re a Mom at Home (or in my case, a Mommie at Home…)

    Controlling Acne When Pregnant

    Monday, May 19th, 2008

I have always heard about the glow of pregnancy, that aura that women generate when pregnant. I had also heard that your complexion will clear up and be clear when you get pregnant as well. Guess what, ya, none of that happened to me. I broke out worse pregnant than I ever did. You need to be very careful on what you use when pregnant, so what is recommended?

    Another Look at ACOP

    Saturday, May 17th, 2008

I’ve been quite surprised at ACOP so far this month, as they have surpassed some of my other bigger survey money makers. American Consumer Opinion is a BBB Online company and they are INTERNATIONAL!
