Friday, July 11th, 2008
This is a decision that every mother faces after having a child. I’ve been reading on a survey forum that I’m involved in that many mother’s just don’t see how they can stay home, there’s just no way…

Another House Rant
Monday, July 7th, 2008
So this morning, as I did my normal lazy Monday chores, I guess I missed a phone call. I was busy folding laundry, picking up the kitchen, taking a shower, stuff like that. The call I missed was our realtors office to schedule a showing…
Christmas in July
Monday, July 7th, 2008
What, can it be? Can there be less than six months until Christmas? You got it guys, but there’s an easier way to deal with this Christmas. Many stores are having Christmas in July sales, so if you act now, you can get a chunk of your Christmas shopping done early and then pat yourself on the back later!
ShopWiki
Monday, July 7th, 2008
Here’s a great site for parents and those becoming parents, it’s ShopWiki. With this site you can harness quite a large search engine to look for the best prices for you. They’ve also categorized the results into easy sections. You can see their buying guides quickly when you hit their site.
Lightspeed Over Your Phone
Sunday, July 6th, 2008
There seems to be this movement in the survey community where surveys are now being given over your phone. I had actually gotten paid out on a survey that asked me about this, would I like it, would I do it, and my answer was probably not. Now my favorite survey site, Lightspeed Panel, has launched their phone survey campaign.
There are a few catches to this. You must have a phone that has access to the internet. They send you a text message (just like they would send you an e-mail). Then if you want to take the survey, you open the link in the text message on your phone, which takes you to the internet on your phone. You’re able to take surveys on the go, making money in addition to their regular online surveys!
GPS Just Rocks
Saturday, July 5th, 2008
For Fathers Day this year my husband couldn’t figure out what he wanted. He thinks we’re the Gates family or something, because he always asks for these terribly expensive things that I never buy him. This year I decided to get him whatever I wanted and it happened to be a Magellan GPS system for the car. Since we’ve gotten it, we’ve used it pretty much constantly, and let me just say that it rocks!
Hair Changes During Pregnancy
Saturday, July 5th, 2008
Anyone who has been pregnant knows that your hair changes during pregnancy, either for the better or the worse, but it does change. These changes are due to the increased amount of hormones within the woman’s body. These hormones can do pretty much anything to your hair, make it grow thick and fast, fall out, get oily, dry out, your hair could straighten or get curly, pretty much anything can happen. So what do you do when your hair gets too dry?
Grocery Buck
Friday, July 4th, 2008
Alright ladies and gentlemen, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Well, at least I have. Anyone who has been around my site for quite a while knows that I’m very dedicated to saving money when it comes to grocery shopping. I like to make my grocery budget stretch as far as I can. To do this I like to go off unit prices of items, as you get the most bang for your buck. I’ve always recommended everyone have their own price book, which is just a listing of a store, a products price, the unit price, a sales price, information like that. If you have a price book it helps you make intelligent decisions on what to buy and where. Well, we’ve developed a new website called Grocery Buck that helps you do just that.
Please Buy My House
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008
I hate the thought of having 3 kids stuck in a townhouse that is too small for them, of not having a yard for them to run and play in…SOMEONE PLEASE BUY MY HOUSE!
As much as I can wish this, pray for this and just plain hope for it, it doesn’t seem to be happening. Now with #3 on the way, we truly need a bigger home. I want to shout from the roof tops how great my house is!!!
So instead of shouting from the rooftops, I’ll put it on my blog so the Google gods can index some key words.
