Online Surveys - Some actually pay...
I'm opinionated as it is, but your going to pay me too?? What?
Anyhow, that's how I thought about the surveys for a while. Now I'm definitely not going to say that you can make a fortune doing surveys online, because I just don't think you will. But, you can make some money or gift cards that you can use pretty much anywhere.
When I started doing them, I signed up for every one I could (DON'T DO THIS). Honestly, most of them were just click throughs, a survey site you sign up for that leads you to another survey site, that leads to another and you actually never take a survey! So here's my list of ones I like and ones I didn't...
LIGHTSPEED PANEL - This one is my favorite, I get surveys about everyday. They payout cash via Paypal.
OPINION OUTPOST - My close second. Again, I get surveys about everyday. They payout via check, so it takes a longer time then Paypal would.
MY SURVEY - I like these guys, I get pretty regular surveys. They pay both cash and rewards, with cash paid out via check.
American Consumer Opinion - ACOP - I like this one, and it's a member of the Better Business Bureau online! They send out surveys and pay you directly for each survey, on the spot, via check. No points, nothing like that, just cash, so check these guys out!
E-POLL - I get surveys fairly regularly. I also like these guys because they are a member of the BBB Online Reliability Program. They payout with gift cards from places like Amazon, Best Buy and Target.
ZOOM PANEL - This is a rather new one for me. The rewards are actual items (i.e. prizes), not cash.
VALUED OPINIONS - This one is great. They are a member of BBB Online, and that's always a plus. The thing with these guys is that you get rewarded in gift vouchers. The thing is, they only have the following GC partners: Marriott, iTunes, Macy's, Amazon.com eLUXURY, Fragrancenet.com. I use them because I like the Amazon gift cards, so it's worth my time!
CV OPINIONS - Their surveys are pretty good. These guys use a point system that can be redeemed at $15. They pay out via check.
DNEERO - This is a great site if you have a website or blog. You take short surveys and then post your survey in your blog posts. You get paid just for taking the survey and also for how many hits your blog gets, i.e. the more popular your site, the more you end up getting paid. They pay out via Paypal.
Esearch - These guys pay out via Paypal about a month after you take their surveys. You must keep track of the surveys you take on your own though.
Ones I wouldn't even try if I were you, as these are just click throughs or pay nothing, i.e. a waste of your time...

One thing you can do with these sites if you really feel the urge, is to get on them and look at the links they have. Then go directly to the links website (i.e. if they have a link to ABCSurvey, then instead of clicking their link, just type ABC's address into your own browser). This will satisfy your curiosity without the thousands of e-mails that usually ensue by clicking the links.
