Sometimes people make comments that make us wonder, but large or small a healthy baby is a healthy baby. When my children were small they were a little chunky… then they’d grow. As youngsters people commented on how thin they were… it is totally genetics! We are a thin people. I decided that if they were healthy I was happy. And to this day they are healthy and thin. Believe me, people make senseless comments either way and they can hurt just as much.

Oh my goodness …
You brought back memories about my firstborn son.
He was a preemie baby and breastfed a lot.
By the time he was 6 months old he was as wide as he was tall.
Very adorable and healthy … but CHUNKY.
I remember how upset I would get when people would call him fat -
To me he was perfect
And it made me worry unnecessarily (Being a new mom and all, I didn’t no any better.)
Long story short …
By the time he started crawling it was all gone.
He was and still is a lean, mean (not really), 25 year old fighting machine!

Chunky little ones are the cutest!!! They mostly lose it all when they start walking anyway. I hate seeing all the baby chub go away though. As long as they’re healthy a little chub roll isn’t hurting a thing.
