Care Homes
February 8th, 2008 by Mommie

So when I think of being a mommie, it’s hard to think of myself in a number of years when I’ll need someone to take care of me. I saw a post a while back on Easy Money Saving about parents moving back in with their children when they hit a certain point. I don’t want to move in with my children. It got me to thinking about what I would do about our “care” when my husband and I get older. (I don’t like to think about my parents getting older, that’s a hard one for me to even consider, so of course I just think about me getting older and not them, it’s easier that way).

What do I know about care and how to find it? Nothing. As about half of my readers are in the UK, you’ll be happy to know that care homes are easy to research by just going to bettercaring.com. They go over everything you’ll need to know and help you find the right kind of care you’ll need. Their site has forums, so you can talk with others about your concerns or questions. It’s a great resource if you have questions to answer about care for your “mommie”.
