Mommies Home has been going through some changes, both in style and now in some of the content as well. Since the birth of my son, the amount of time I can spend on the computer has dropped substantially. With a newborn, a rambunctious two year old and a very busy seven year old, things were down to a crawl. But just like any mom, I’m pretty much back to a good rhythm.

A few months ago I was finding it hard to get a shower in every other day or even do menial tasks around the house. Then our whole family came down with H1N1. Took me out of the game for almost two full weeks. But now I have my routine down to where I can get a workout in everyday, get the house work done, make dinner and even get a shower in. I also am able to devote more time to the blog, which I have missed quite a bit.

All of that being said, I’ve changed the layout of the blog and also will be changing some of the content to be more on target with my subject matter. Hope you all enjoy!

I finally decided to take off some of my Mommies Home.net videos from YouTube. I had put up two different videos on the “Grocery Game”, or should I say the independents version of the grocery game. I thought it would help people who didn’t want to pay for the actual “Grocery Game” and instead had the time and energy to do it themselves.

This month a lot has changed on Mommies Home.Net. Some for the better, some for the seemingly worse, but all change in my book is good. So I made a ton this month, but not from the site per say. So how did the site do and where did I make my money?

Starting out 2009 on the right foot, I’d like to introduce Moms Cash Site, http://www.momscashsite.com. This site was started in an effort to help other moms, or anyone wanting to make money while at home. There’s money out there, you just have to know where to find it. My hopes are to help others to better their lives, maybe even find a way around that “I can’t afford to stay home” excuse that I hear so often. It covers areas like surveys, advertising, selling, pay per post opportunities, blogging and more. Come check it out and start to make some cash on your own!

Yes everyone, I’ve caught yet another Entrecard virus. I’m so sick of these things. This one sucks and it’s all I can do to post this. It opens up another web session everytime I type. Goodie.

Entrecard brings me a large amount of traffic a day, but honestly I’m wondering if it’s worth it with all the viruses I seem to get. I have the latest everything to protect my PC and it’s just not working.

We’re going to format my computer here in a little bit, which I hate to do. Looks like I won’t be dropping cards for a while, and I think I’m even scared to now. Stay tuned…

Mommies Home.net has been up and running for over a year now. It started out as something to keep me busy during my days but has turned into much, much more. Yes, yes, I was stricken with another virus from an Entrecard site today. This time it happened on my laptop. I still can’t figure out which site it’s coming from, due to how I drop cards. So that’s two viruses in less than 5 days. Great. This puts quite a damper on everything, from posting to my own site to visiting my fav’s on a daily basis.

Please be careful when dropping cards!

I haven’t posted in a few days, as I got yet another virus on my computer. I wish those people would just stop making those silly things, it’s just a big waste. I was unable to get on my computer on Friday, Saturday we went up to Winter Park for my husbands company Christmas party, and Sunday my computer was still bogged down with that virus.

I guess my husband fixed it, seems like it’s working, but I haven’t talked to him about it so I don’t really know.

November was the best month ever for Mommies Home.net. I still didn’t hit my goal, but I only missed it by about $50. Not bad though!!

Yes, it’s official, Mommies Home.net just had a birthday (or anniversary)! We officially turned one on the 9th of November.
