After a little slump in the survey arena, Lightspeed Panel has started to pick up and make me happy again! Here’s what I attribute it to…

There hits a stage in every little girls life when they stop being a little toddler girl and grow up to be a big girl. One of the best way to signify this to a young girl is to change her bedroom to reflect that. With our daughter we made many improvements, including her bedding, her bed, the color of her room and all of the fixtures in her room. So does this really signify anything to a young girl? Well thanks to the survey Gods, surveys are picking up for September.  LIGHTSPEED PANEL, in particular, has picked up substantially this month!  I’m happy to, because last month I didn’t make to terribly much off them and I love their surveys.  That being said, here’s to another great survey month!

I’d thought I’d give you guys a heads up on some of the survey sites I’ve been checking out to see if their worth while. I have about 10 different survey sites that I currently like to use, they make me some extra money (which is coming quite in handy with a few of the financial changes we’ve had recently). That being said, here’s a few good ones and a few bad ones…

So I stopped using Ipsos last month, a survey company that I tried out for all of you. Ipsos uses a ticket system to enter to win items. Ya, that’ll never happen. Any of the survey sites that use any type of “Do this survey for a chance to win” is not a survey site I want, or want my readers to be a part of. Right when I dropped them they said they were instituting a new system where the tickets you’d win could be used for actual merchandise and gift cards. Do you think they did it?

I hadn’t gotten around to unsubscribing to them yet when I received the news of the change. Gift cards, to me at least, are almost as good as cash. Mostly they would be used to buy the gifts that need to be bought throughout the year, you know, birthdays and such. Basically I’m saving myself from the money outlay later, so it’s almost as good as cash.

Yet I’m still receiving survey invitations from them and they are only for tickets to be used to enter drawings. I’m sticking to my guns on this one for you guys, Ipsos stays on the “don’t go to this survey” portion of the survey page.

So far for April, OPINION OUTPOST and American Consumer Opinion – ACOP are the two making the most, so check them out for some easy survey cash.

I make a good chunk of cash through online surveys, but I don’t recommend them all to my readers. I try them out and see how I like them, the ones worth my time (and yours) are recommended. So here are two that I really can’t recommend to you:

Survey Spot – I’ve been trying this one out for a while now. It was recommended by one of the survey sites I go to. In Mommies opinion, don’t waste your time. They send tons of surveys, but only a tiny portion pay out. The rest give you entries for a giveaway, which in my opinion translates to no money for me. In addition, I completed some surveys that were worth money, and when I went to go see the money in my Survey Spot account (after having to contact customer support and wait a week for a response to get a silly password) alas, no money. This one is a definite no on the Mommie scale.

Greenfield Online – I had high hopes for this one! They have a decent referral program too. Well, they too send out a ton of surveys, but they either are a 20 minute survey for no money at all, or pay $.25 for a half hour survey. Thanks, but no thanks. Mommie likes to get paid!

So there’s two that you can cross off your list, I’ve also added them to the list of “ones I wouldn’t try” on the online surveys that pay page.
