    ClickN Read Phonics

    By User ImageMommie | October 11, 2008

The summer before my daughter entered kindergarten, I had quite the time. There were certain things she needed to know before getting into kindergarten, and one of them was her words and how to read some of them. I got a phonics set and set out helping to teach her how to read via phonics. I think it worked quite well. But now they have something way better, it’s ClickN Read!!!

So ClickN Read Phonics is a web site that teaches your child how to read. Go to their site and do one of their practice lessons and you’ll see how great it is. There’s nothing to install, you just log on and go. My daughter was playing computer games at 3, so I know that any child would have a ball with this. It’s like a big game that teaches your child, just without tons of books and flash cards to store.

It’s also loaded with extras for parents, like progress reports, so you can see how your child is progressing. They also have a 60 day money back guarantee, which everyone loves! Anyhow, this program is great, so check it out.

I will have to check the website out. My daughter is 4 ½ and just entered into prek. She can sound out three letter words. We got started with the LeapFrog Letter Factory DVD and then I helped her put the words together.

She does love playing computer games though, so I will have to checkout the website.
