So with the economy in the toilet and people being laid off right and left, how do you support your family? When leaving my corporate job, I kind of freaked out. I was leaving a job that was paying me hella close to triple digits to stay at home with the kids. Even if I went back after the kids were all in school (6-7 years from now), I wouldn’t jump back in where I was. So how does someone who suddenly has to make the money again to support their family do it? Well, you may consider freelance.
I had to actually look up what freelance was. I had no clue that there were a ton of jobs out there for people with niche experience. Once I realized that freelance and work at home were almost the same, I was intrigued. So many freelance jobs are available, but they can sometimes be hard to find.
Go Freelance has a ton of jobs listed so check them out. As I’m always on the lookout for jobs that I could do from home, this one definitely hit home (no pun intended!)
I have been teetering on the idea of oging freelance, but I’m so nervous. I make a very decent salary now and it’s hard to walk away. How did you do it? I will chek out the go freelance link. Thanks
