So with the economy in the toilet and people being laid off right and left, how do you support your family? When leaving my corporate job, I kind of freaked out. I was leaving a job that was paying me hella close to triple digits to stay at home with the kids. Even if I went back after the kids were all in school (6-7 years from now), I wouldn’t jump back in where I was. I had to actually look up what freelance was. I had no clue that there were a ton of jobs out there for people with niche experience. Once I realized that freelance and work at home were almost the same, I was intrigued. So many freelance jobs are available, but they can sometimes be hard to find.
