GPS Just Rocks

For Fathers Day this year my husband couldn’t figure out what he wanted. He thinks we’re the Gates family or something, because he always asks for these terribly expensive things that I never buy him. This year I decided to get him whatever I wanted and it happened to be a Magellan GPS system for the car. Since we’ve gotten it, we’ve used it pretty much constantly, and let me just say that it rocks!
We use it to look up the closest restaurants, stores, gas stations, you name it. Even when you know the destination it’s great because it’ll count down miles for you and keep updating your ETA. We took it camping with us and were surprised to know that it even knew the dirt roads we were on! You can take it hiking with you as well, in case you get lost. (One downfall I need to mention is that the GPS system doesn’t know what kind of car you drive, so when it tried to direct me over a mountain using a 4WD road, I had to reassess…)
