    Great Morning Meal

    I thought I’d share with everyone my favorite morning meal (besides those cravings of donuts and cinnamon toast crunch that seem to rock my world every so often)…

    There’s a few things in this world that I hate (probably more than a few), but one on the top of the list is bananas. I’ve always hated them, ick. But, they’re good for me and I hate making my kids eat things that I won’t, so I’ve incorporated them into this “meal”.

    What I’ve dubbed “Mommies Morning Meal” is just a blender creation. I figured I need all my fruits eat day, but honestly I don’t have time to eat a banana, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or whatever the fruit is that’s stocked in my fridge. So I pick 3 fruits, one has to be a banana because it will be the only time I can handle a banana. I mix in a 1/4 cup to a 1/2 cup of Quaker oats (that’s my oatmeal for the day), put in my scoops of soy protein mix, a cup of skim milk and blend.

    It’s that simple and with it I get all my fruit for the day (including those icky bananas), a massive chunk of my protein, iron, and calcium. This is definitely not a low calorie meal (so if your on Stacker or something then don’t drink this shake), but it’s an awesome meal for it’s nutritional value and it’s speed to down the meal. Think about the Mommie Meal when you’re reaching for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch…
