Now they have Lego Indiana Jones. My daughter has a hard time watching Indiana Jones, she doesn’t get it and doesn’t seem to care. But I wondered if they were just trying to “cute up” Indiana Jones to make some more money off the youth? Well of course they are!
It’s the parents job to monitor what their children are doing and playing. Many people won’t let their children play any games with violence in them, even if it is Lego’s.
Honestly if you watch either the Star Wars or Indiana Lego games, you’ll see that they are extremely “cute”. They are rated “E”, which should mean that a 4 year old and a 30 year old will both enjoy playing them.
Right now the Lego Indiana Jones game is out. Buy.com has it for sale here.

I have both Star Wars Lego games and Indiana Jones. I have a Lego Harry Potter too, but it’s not the same. I think they are cute and fun. However, they are kind of addiciting and I have to limit the time my son (and myself) get to play them.
My son’s daycare has these to play as well. Lego games are not blood and gore violient like other games. And it sparked creativity in my son — when he don’t play the Lego games, he gets out his real legos and builds all kinds of things to make up his own “game”.
The Lego Star Wars came bundled with our Wii and it seems pretty tame, actually a little slow moving so it’s probably very good for younger kids. My daughter rented the Lego Indiana Jones and it was very similar, just different characters and instead of light sabers, they used ropes. It’s a cute concept.
I just have the demo of the Lego Star Wars and my 4year old loves the game. the controls are a bit too much for him on the Mac but he still has fun. Sounds like I should get the Indiana Jones for our PSP.
