Lightspeed Over Your Phone

There seems to be this movement in the survey community where surveys are now being given over your phone. I had actually gotten paid out on a survey that asked me about this, would I like it, would I do it, and my answer was probably not. Now my favorite survey site, Lightspeed Panel, has launched their phone survey campaign.
There are a few catches to this. You must have a phone that has access to the internet. They send you a text message (just like they would send you an e-mail). Then if you want to take the survey, you open the link in the text message on your phone, which takes you to the internet on your phone. You’re able to take surveys on the go, making money in addition to their regular online surveys!
Pretty sweet deal, especially coming from Lightspeed Panel. I opted not to do the phone surveys, as we don’t have a plan with internet on our phones. Be careful, as you may be charged an arm and a leg if you access the internet and don’t have it on your phone plan.
I also have reservations about getting text messages on my phone. If it’s anything like the amount of e-mails I get a day, I’d be checking my phone constantly. Although I’m sure Lightspeed wouldn’t be intrusive, if all the survey sites start including phone surveys in your many options in how you go about taking surveys, then this could end up being quite the way to supplement your income!
If you want more information on online surveys that really pay, check out my survey page. My top 3 are Lightspeed Panel, My Survey and Opinion Outpost.
