I am pregnant too and found the Wii fit plus is easy to use and does not require much strain. I think it is funny how my mii gains weight. Although I am 5 months pregnant, I am still within the normal BMI apparently, which means that the work-outs are helping me keep the weight gain to a minimum. Personally, I enjoy the wii fit plus being a pregnant lady. The only thing I was warned about it was the yoga - for example, I was told not to do the shoulder stands or stretches like downward dog. All else is a go!

I found your site on bing. I couldn't agree more. Weight loss isn't rocket science like some people would have you believe. It just takes some dedication and discipline. I will definately be back to check your site.

Maybe you should try out some of the more original games. Nintendo has always been about games that are focused on fun rather than blowing people (or zombies) away. So skip the zombie and gun games and instead get cooking and surgery games.

I just purchased a WiiFit the other day and I'm 18 weeks pregnant. I realized that you don't necessarily have to tell the system you want to lose weight. I've been having problems putting weight on, so I set a goal of putting on 1 pound every 2 weeks, that way I don't feel guilty that I'm not losing weight. I agree with the other poster, though...my Mii with a spare tire is a little difficult to swallow. Not to mention that my husband laughed his butt off when he saw it!!

If you're looking for a more interactive fun kind of game that everyone can play, try Raving Rabbids 2 or Mario Party. Nothing beats Mario Party on any Nintendo system. WarioWare for Game Cube was really awesome also but we have yet to get it for the Wii. Have fun!

The wii fit age is based on several things. Your real age, your hight and weight, your balance and your reaction times. Its a pretty accurate average of your physical (not actual) age.

We had the wii for about 6 months before my wife got really in to it. We bought the fit and while we like it, we've found that after a couple of weeks, we're not using it like we said we would...

We bought a game called Game Party, it has darts, skill ball and some other fun "party" games my wife likes to beat me at. The Wii Play pack is a must have too. Cow racing is soooo much fun.

I also got mariokart for my birthday, and it hasn't left the wii since then.... :)

The Wii is great! I never had a video gaming console that causes sore muscles... After the first tennis matches my elbow hurts like hell... bad technique I guess...

That Wii age has to do with your balance I think, not your weight.

I have just started using the wii fit but I am confused. My Wii age started older than I am. I went on holiday, put on a few pounds, got on the Wii fit and wow I am younger. Over this week I have lost a couple of pounds, got on the Wii fit and now I have got older again. I must admit I do like it and we have some fun with the Mario Kart racing game and my daughter enjoys bowling.

I would agree that that the graphics are not as good as X-Box 360 or the Playstation 3 however the gameplay and unique interaction make the WII a great console. I am yet to try Wii fit but from all reports it seems to be worth the money.
