With Christmas over and all those festivities behind us, we all look to the new year. What will we change, what will we work towards, all of the above. So here are the top New Years resolutions…which ones will Mommie be doing?
- Increase family time – Sounds great to me, I just wonder where the increase will come from
- Exercise everyday – Yep, this one is going to be a must with my new, ever increasing figure
- Lose weight – After the baby is born, that’s one of my larger priorities. Actually, it’s more to get healthier than to lose weight.
- Quit smoking – I don’t smoke, so doesn’t apply
- Quit drinking – I don’t drink, so doesn’t apply
- Stop and smell the roses – In my head this is Mommie time. Um, sure, that sounds good. I guess I should fit that in, I just don’t know when…
- Get out of debt – I guess it depends which debt. Credit card debt we’re pretty free of. Student loan debt, um, that will take a tad to long. House debt? No way. Car debt, probably not. How about to resolve to stay out of credit card debt, that’s a good one.
- Learn something – I’d like to learn to sew a little better and cook Indian food
- Volunteer – This is a great idea. My daughter would benefit greatly from this, as would I
- Organize your life – Always something I try to do. Doesn’t always work, but if we want to sell our home this year, we’re going to have to declutter some more and do what we can…
So I haven’t decided what my set resolutions are yet, but I will let you know. What are yours? I’d love to hear them, maybe I can steal them!
