Even though I’ve never seen molasses, I’m assuming that it’s slow, due to the fact that it is indeed paired with the term slow. That’s how fast our place is selling, the speed of, well, molasses. 3 weeks and not one showing. Come on people, how long do you want me to keep this place clean anyhow!

That being said, we’ve made no move to look at new homes either. The market is bad, we’re all aware of it. Every single morning on the today show they have someone on there telling me about how I’m going to have to feed my family rice everyday and nothing else in order to survive this economy. Great. I digress. We’ve sought out no mortgage lenders, looked at no houses, nothing.

Finally today my husband and I talked about taking it off the market, but our real estate agent wants to keep it on a few more weeks. Houses in our area take about 90 days to sell, and she thinks ours will.

Ugh. But it’s soooooo slow! I need to find an old couple who’ve raised their kids and need a smaller place and just trade homes with them! Wish it were that easy…
