Survey Sites I Won’t Be Recommending

I make a good chunk of cash through online surveys, but I don’t recommend them all to my readers. I try them out and see how I like them, the ones worth my time (and yours) are recommended. So here are two that I really can’t recommend to you:

Survey Spot – I’ve been trying this one out for a while now. It was recommended by one of the survey sites I go to. In Mommies opinion, don’t waste your time. They send tons of surveys, but only a tiny portion pay out. The rest give you entries for a giveaway, which in my opinion translates to no money for me. In addition, I completed some surveys that were worth money, and when I went to go see the money in my Survey Spot account (after having to contact customer support and wait a week for a response to get a silly password) alas, no money. This one is a definite no on the Mommie scale.

Greenfield Online – I had high hopes for this one! They have a decent referral program too. Well, they too send out a ton of surveys, but they either are a 20 minute survey for no money at all, or pay $.25 for a half hour survey. Thanks, but no thanks. Mommie likes to get paid!

So there’s two that you can cross off your list, I’ve also added them to the list of “ones I wouldn’t try” on the online surveys that pay page.

As always, the top performers are still LIGHTSPEED PANEL, OPINION OUTPOST, and MY SURVEY. Happy surveying!!

I use to do treasure troopers and cash crate quite a bit, but I never seem to find the time now to keep doing them. I did earn money from both sites though!

Survey sites are very tricky. They have a lot of catches and fine print. I urge all to be careful when trying new survey sites out because they can sell your info or bombard your computers with pop up ads. Just speaking from my previous experience. However, don’t be afraid to try recommended sites such as Mommies reviews. I believe in just a few sites that are worth it and the rest are a waste of time. Also keep in mind, survey $$$ is only play money. You won’t get rich with surveys but it sure is great money for gas, snacks and small shopping trips (guilt free.) Good post Mommie!

I’ve never tried SurveySpot, but Greenfield I did use to do. They use to pay, but they don’t seem to be worth the time anymore. I’m like you, I don’t like using my time to do a survey to be entered in a drawing that I know I’ll never win!
