Valentines Day For All Mommies
Feb 11th, 2009 by Mommie

Valentines Day is just around the corner. I remember being a kid and loving that day. We had school parties where we got candy, cupcakes, tons of cards, it was almost like Halloween. As I got older, I either loved or hated the day, depending on if I had a boyfriend at the time or not. Even sometimes when I had a boyfriend I hated the day! Merry Christmas to All!
Dec 24th, 2008 by Mommie

I figured I’d post now, as I won’t be able to for the rest of today or tomorrow. Well, Christmas is finally here (Christmas Eve at least). All the presents are wrapped, we baked yesterday (oh, and all got exposed to strep again, lovely), family got into town last night and we’re ready to start our holiday.

I’m looking forward to today and tomorrow, but as I said before, I’m looking forward to the days after. I like the beginning of a new year, it’s like rebirth. You haven’t done anything bad yet, you can start fresh!

To all my Mommies Home.net readers, have a wonderful Christmas! I know I will sure try!

I’d have the Christmas spirit for months after Christmas, it was wonderful.

Last year something seemed to change in me, I wasn’t as excited. The season flew by and I didn’t bake anything but break apart cookies. Our house was just cluttered, not seasonal. It just didn’t feel the same. This year, well, I just want the stupid holiday to be over… Read the rest of this entry »
