Money Matters
I thought the days of women being ripped off in repair shops was over. Many of you that read my site a lot know that I hate to pay full price for anything. I shop around as much as I can so that I can make sure to get a great deal on pretty much anything I buy. I view it as part of my job being our family's household manager; it's my job to save some money. That being said, I'll let you in on one site that I check in my quest for great buys, it's Buy.com.
So there is one big trick I do to supplement my income and it's fun too. I've been doing it for a few months now and I love it. While I'm not paid cash, like many of my surveys pay out, I am "paid" in what I like to call "Life Currency".
I was at the park today with my kids and there was a grandma there with her 3 grandchildren. She had bought them lunch at Chick-fil-a and they had brought it there for a little picnic. I struck up a conversation with her and she said that it was only 2 weeks since the kids got out of school and she was already out of things to do with them. So we started to talk about the zoo.
