Grocery Game

Alright ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for! Well, at least I have. Anyone who has been around my site for quite a while knows that I'm very dedicated to saving money when it comes to grocery shopping. I like to make my grocery budget stretch as far as I can. To do this I like to go off unit prices of items, as you get the most bang for your buck. I've always recommended everyone have their own price book, which is just a listing of a store, a products price, the unit price, a sales price, information like that. If you have a price book it helps you make intelligent decisions on what to buy and where. Well, we've developed a new website called Grocery Buck that helps you do just that.

***UPDATE: CURRENT VOLUNTEER COUNT = 5, I NEED 5 MORE!!!***

I'm constantly doing my comparison shopping for groceries, you pretty much have to in these days. We'll there is a new website that is getting ready to launch that will help you keep track of all of this and save you some cash at the grocery store.

This new site will be a public site where anyone wishing to save some money can, and help others do the same. It's 100% free, no catch at all. It's people helping people, that's it.

I'm asking for about 10 volunteers to watch a presentation on the site and then give their honest feedback on this site and the presentation.

This will be held on Thursday June 26th at 8:30 PM MST for 20-30 minutes.

As an added bonus, I'll give a blog roll link to whoever signs up.

Just send your e-mail address (it will only be used to relay the information on how to connect to the presentation, it won't be sold or anything like that) to me at mommie@mommieshome.net with GROCERY in the subject. If you have any questions, please contact me at the same e-mail address.

Come on! Help save money for you and the rest of the people out there!Vote for my post Grocery Volunteers Needed on Mom Blog Network

So every week I get the ads for the local grocery stores. I'll show you real quick how to spot a deal and how to see if the stores are just trying to pull one over on you. I'll also show a quick price book use. Check out What Do You Consider A Deal for some more background.

Being a SAHM gives me the chance (and responsibility) to find the best way to save my family money. Usually I do this by finding the best deal. It still amazes me that many people view a "deal" much differently than I do. So what do I consider a deal and how does it differ from the mainstream?
