Turkey Day Done

Well, like everyone else, I got through turkey day! We all ate to much (and it was good). We put up our Christmas tree and decorated on Thanksgiving as well, so it was quite a busy day.
Of course the day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday. Now I was thinking about that yesterday and here’s my thoughts.
On black friday, do you know what I did? I bet you think, because I’m a woman, it’s that time of year and there are great bargains to be had that I was out in force yesterday. Well, I was actually sitting on the couch with my husband watching a Star Trek Enterprise marathon. I’m just not into all of those crowds, people get really mean, I end up buying stuff that’s not for Christmas (usually stuff for me).
Don’t get me wrong, I did shop a little, but it was online and I think I placed an order at like 9pm. Am I missing out on some deals, I’m sure I am. But I can honestly say that yesterday I had a wonderful day hanging out with my family.
I like to celebrate Christmas starting November 1st (I know, I need mental help), but this year we didn’t start until Thanksgiving. The new baby has made it hard to get stuff done early. Happy shopping!
