Van Back From Shop

Finally we have our van back from the shop, AGAIN!! It went back in for the same problem it was in for before, the sway bars. The car sounded horrible to drive! Not only that but it turns out that a squeaking started, which was a bad idle pully and serpentine belt. But, it’s all fixed now…
That being said, I can tell you what saved us on this whole “fix the van” fiasco, it was our extended warranty! We paid our $100 deductible and it covered the other $3,000 in car repairs. Now that is great! We didn’t get the most expensive warranty, but it was close to the best. We learned when we had our BMW that an extended warranty can really pay off on some of the bigger car purchases. The BMW was the first car we purchased it on and thank the good lord we did, as tiny things on that car cost a fortune!
Now with the van being our pride and joy (oh how times have changed), we were sure to get it and we’re very happy we did. You can get extended warranties through companies like us fidelis, that offer great coverage. Glad to have the van back though!
