I hear ya…but your post made me realize that last night I came home to something very similar. My husband and I both work outside the home fulltime…but he gets off a bit earlier and picks up our 19 month old from day care. When I walked in the house last night….my son was sitting at the table happily eating a peeled apple with clean hands and clean diaper while my husband was finishing up dinner! Albeit the dinner was his leftover chicken soup and toasted ravioli but still. Oh and he had done up the dishes too! Shoot….I love that man…and I love being a woman …having a man like that helps a bunch!

Thanks for the post. My husband thanks you too (cause he is gonna get some extra huggin tonight)

no need for penis envy. i think it’s cool being a female. you have a stronger bond with the kids. you are the glue that bonds the family structure. females are stronger then males. i wish i was in my future wife’s shoes

… but only on certain instances similar what you have described.

it’s frustrating sometimes to have double standards for women, like we are “expected” to be always neat and clean, while men can relax and be a slob all they want and it’s normal.

or it’s normal for guys to be sexual but if you’re a woman, you’re frowned upon.

the list goes on.
